Join us for a Community Bike Ride and Picnic on Sunday, August 31, on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail!
Here's the plan:
1:45pm depart from The Bike Connector Global HQ (47 Lee St, Lowell)
2:15pm depart from Bruce Freeman Rail Trail parking lot - by Crosspoint.
3 pm picnic at NARA Park, Acton
?? return to Lowell
You can join us at any of these points. At the Bruce Freeman, we will split into small groups to go whatever speed you want - if some people want to go faster, they can explore further reaches of the trail and come back to NARA Park for picnic time (No racing please 😒).
We'll have a potluck-style picnic at NARA Park - feel free to bring some light snacks/drink to share. We will bring some basic supplies (cups, paper plates, etc), and a bike trailer from Lee St so we don't have to carry too much on our backs. The picnic tables at the Park were all booked up, but we can bring blankets for sitting on the grass.
This event is for everyone: kids; adults; volunteers: clients; friends of the Bike Connector; folks who want to be our friend, but aren't yet; folks who don't want to be our friend, but just love picnics... the list goes on!
