Ceramic Fairy Doors with Tracy!

In this two hour pottery event, you'll use your hands, pottery tools, stamps and molds to sculpt and decorate your own ceramic fairy door. You'll learn handbuilding techniques including coiling, slip and score, texturing, and more! Your door can be any shape and almost any size, whatever brings you joy! Keep it simple or make it as elaborate as you like. Halfway into the session, we'll move on to glazing, which is where you add color to your piece. Tracy can guide you in choosing and mixing colors to get the effects you want.

This class will take place in the Classroom Space at WAS. This is on the second floor. Enter through the main door - it has a big sign above the entrace that says Western Avenue Studios, and you'll see signs for the loading dock gallery. Once inside, make your way to the 2nd floor (there's 1/2 flight of stairs or an evelevator) and make a right after the loading dock gallery. The classroom will be on the left. Additionally, parking is free!
