This 90 minute session will introduce Piedmont Housing Alliance and the Financial Opportunity Center in Charlottesville. PHA offers access to financial and housing stability resources for low-income residents in Region 10 including Nelson County. In addition, Frank Webster of Virginia Housing will be present and providing information about how Virginia Housing can help Homebuyers including the different products and programs that Virginia Housing offers. In addition, we’ll have Ken Mextorf of United Bank Mortgage speaking directly about the Nelson County housing market and how lenders can assist buyers through the buying process. This class is directed at First Time Homebuyers, all are welcome regardless of previous knowledge and experiences involving homebuying.
