Birth Rebels: Birth Your Way; Unapologetically Empowered - Class 1

Meeting in the Oak Room at Chilson Rec Center, Loveland

Birth Rebels is for birthing people and their partners/support person who are ready to step into the driver's seat, get informed, and feel truly empowered for their birth experience - whether that's in a hospital, birth center, or at home.

Each class will also include special guest speakers from our local Birth Community (Midwives, Webster Method-trained Chiropractors, etc), and each attendee will receive a list of local resources for building their support team, planning postpartum care, creating a village, etc. For Class 1, we have the honor of hosting Kim Windels, CNM and owner of True North Birth and Wellness.

This 4-part class series kicks off with Class 1, where we'll cover:

• Choosing Your Birth Support Team - Find the right people to have in your corner
• Preparing Your Body For Birth - Practical ways to help birth and labor progress smoothly
• Preparing Your Mind For Birth - Tools to build confidence, resilience, and focus
• Common Interventions In Hospital Settings - What they are, when they're needed, and when you can say "no thanks"
• Informed Consent, Your Rights & Self-Advocacy - How to speak up and protect your preferences

You'll leave with practical tools, a deeper understanding of your options, and a mindset that says "I've got this."

• Admission ticket covers birthing person + one support person
• All birthing people welcome - this is an inclusive and welcoming space
• Water, bubbly drinks, and light snacks provided
• Bring: Something to write with and any comfort items (yoga mat, pillow, cozy blanket - make yourself at home!)
• All learning materials will be provided
• You do not need to attend all four classes to benefit from each individual class
• Future class dates will be published within the next 3 weeks
• Classes limited to 30 total people/15 pairs

About Your Instructor

I'm Hannah, a certified birth doula, Medicaid approved provider, mindset coach, and mom of two. My approach blends evidence-based education with real-world tools so you can make informed decisions and feel confident no matter how your birth unfolds. I specialize in supporting all birthing people - including neurodivergent families - in creating an empowered, personalized birth experience.
