• Τεχνική των palmas: ακρίβεια, καθαρότητα και ηχητικότητα.
• Αντίχρονος ρυθμός (contratiempo): πώς να τον κυριαρχήσεις και να τον χρησιμοποιήσεις με μουσικότητα.
• Ποικιλία ρυθμικών σχημάτων: παραδοσιακό compás και σύγχρονες συνδυαστικές φόρμες.
• Συντονισμός χεριών-ποδιών: για μια πιο πλήρη και συνειδητή ρυθμική έκφραση.

PALMAS Workshop with Andrej Vujicic

A unique opportunity to dive deeper into the art of flamenco palmas!

In this workshop we will work on:

• Palmas technique: precision, clarity, and sound quality.
• Contratiempo: how to master it and use it musically.
• Varied rhythmic patterns: traditional compás and modern combinations.
• Communication with the feet: how to accompany dance and zapateado.
• Hand-foot coordination: for a more complete and conscious rhythmic expression.

A workshop for bailaor@s, musicians, flamenco enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to improve their rhythmic understanding and accompaniment skills within flamenco.

Francesca “La Chica” y Andrej son una pareja flamenca que llevan 22 años viviendo en Sevilla y trabajando como artistas profesionales en los tablaos flamencos más prominentes como es el Tablao El Arenal, el Tablao Álvarez Quintero y el Flamenco Esencia. Esta pareja de artistas ofrece una conexión rítmica única y una comprensión profunda del flamenco que surge de 25 años trabajando íntimamente juntos, donde han participado en destacados festivales como el Festival de Jazz de Montreux, el Festival WOMAD, la Bienal de Sevilla, el Festival de Jerez, y en el Sydney Opera House. Su compañía de flamenco PUERTO FLAMENCO con sede en Sevilla, ha desarrollado una visión particular del flamenco tradicional con un diseño y dirección escénica contemporánea, actuando en lugares prestigiosos y realizando numerosas giras por festivales y teatros mundiales. Francesca y Andrej han impartido numerosos talleres y clases magistrales de flamenco en España, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Holanda, Australia, Malta, Nueva Zelanda, Países Bálticos, Japón y Marruecos .

Francesca "La Chica" and Andrej are a flamenco couple who have been living in Seville for 22 years and working as professional artists in the most prominent flamenco tablaos such as Tablao El Arenal, Tablao Álvarez Quintero, and Flamenco Esencia. This artistic duo offers a unique rhythmic connection and a deep understanding of flamenco that arises from 25 years of working closely together. They have participated in renowned festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, WOMAD Festival, Seville Biennial, Jerez Festival, and the Sydney Opera House. Their flamenco company, PUERTO FLAMENCO, based in Seville, has developed a particular vision of traditional flamenco with contemporary scenic design and direction, performing in prestigious venues and touring numerous festivals and theaters worldwide. Francesca and Andrej have taught numerous flamenco workshops and masterclasses in Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Malta, New Zealand, the Baltic countries, Japan, and Morocco.
