The Great War of 1914-1918 changed the world. Learn how this conflict affected people, agriculture, and mining in Boulder County and the Louisville area. Join the City’s Ranger Naturalist and Louisville Historical Museum staff for a walking tour of Open Space areas that show traces from Louisville’s contributions to the war effort. The tour leaves from Kerr Gardens and will require participants to walk about 2.5 miles, including some uphill sections of trail. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen, appropriate clothing for the weather, and comfortable shoes. Please leave pets at home for all Open Space events. Leashed service pets permitted.
Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Please do not bring dogs to this event.
