Intro to Belly Dance

Join Tahulla of Devi Dance Studio® for a journey into belly dance. In the Intro to Belly Dance class, you will learn the basics of traditional and multicultural Raq Sharqi/ Oriental Styles, American Belly dance, and some fusion styles in a gentle supportive way. As you progress, enjoy learning with the introduction of props and different concepts. With all classes, you will learn dance history, the cultures that it comes from, and how things are applied in western society. Walk-in welcome but it is preferred to pre-register. For Ages 4-17 must be accompanied by a parent for at least 2 classes, so the parents know what they are learning. Children sessions will be on a separate time slot.
