- Natives vs. Non-natives
- Straight species vs cultivars
- Matching Plant to Place
- Restoring, creating & maintaining healthy ecosystems
- Focus on bio functionality
- Planting in plant communities

Class led by Master Gardeners and other Farmington garden volunteers.

What is a Walk & Talk?
•Class will be mostly in the garden and participating in the dirt.
•Recommend participants bring gloves. If you have your own trowel that will be helpful.
•What’s going on in the garden (yours and ours) during that month;
•Free. Registration recommended
•Ages 10 to Adult. Minors to be accompanied by an adult.
•In case of inclement weather the class will move to the Carriage House or Brand Pavillion.
