The African Heritage Festival is a celebration of unity, culture, art and history across the African Diaspora. Held on August 22-23, 2025, the festival is a joyous event for the whole family with great food, music, dance, sports, fashion, cultural demonstrations, children’s activities, resources for healthy living and so much more. This exciting celebration of African, African-American, and Caribbean cultures is hosted by Bridge Kids International (BKI), Lou City & Racing Lou Foundation, and the Metro Louisville Office for Immigrant Affairs. The African Heritage Festival is being organized by a dynamic team representing a variety of organizations, countries and backgrounds. The whole city will be invited to this unifying event!
