Researchers have found that going out on a walk and taking in something that gives you a sense of awe - admiring ancient trees, listening to a river, discovering new trails - has a measurable impact and effect on your brain. You feel more present, stress drops and your mood boosts. You feel more connected to the world. Awe pulls you out of your head and into the moment.
