Modular knitting (also known as mitred or domino knitting) is a fun technique in which you knit one module at a time so that each new module is joined to the previous one(s) as you knit it.
Having knitted the first module, you pick up stitches from the previous module, so that each piece is joined as it is knitted. The fun really starts when you knit colour stripes.
Level 1 is suitable for knitters new to mitred squares. Confident with casting on, casting off, and working in garter and stocking stitch.
Level 2 is suitable for knitters who have knitted basic mitred squares (in garter stitch with one mitre). Confident with casting on, casting off, working in garter and stocking stitch, and knitting in the round.
