The regional networks have been created to ensure all women with concomitant medical conditions who are planning a pregnancy, are pregnant or have recently delivered have equal access to excellent best practice care.  Where possible care will be provided locally but clinicians will have access to advice from the specialist MDT's which have been developed. In the East Midlands clinical responsibilities  will be divided between Leicester, Nottingham and Derby."
