Captain’s Charity Walk

After a successful practice walk earlier today we are now in a position to try and map out our schedule for the Charity event on Friday June 13th.
8 members of Charnwood Forest Golf club (Steve Wyles, Matt Wyles, Bob Small, Jamie King, Sam Orton, Grant Astil, Johnathan Britain, Nathan Britain) will attempt to play 18 holes of golf at Rushcliffe Golf club and then walk from there over to Charnwood Forest Golf club before playing 18 holes there.
The day will start with 2 tee times at Rushcliffe Golf Club at 06.00. After the golf a short break in the clubhouse for refreshments will be followed by an 11.5 mile walk to Charnwood via Loughborough town centre (Hopefully around 12.45). The group aim to arrive at Charnwood at around 2.30 and after a short pit stop will embark on the last leg of the event with 18 holes of golf hopefully starting at around 3.15.
If everything goes to plan the lads should reach the 18th green at around 7.00 - 7.15, it would be great if anyone can show some encouragement to the guys over the day and if you could sponsors them either on the forms on the clubhouse notice board or by using the below link to a go fund me page specifically for the event.
