Daylily Hybridizer's Annual Open Garden Day

The daylily season has begun with more spectacular blooms bursting forth daily. Whether you come to take some home with you or just look, if you’re a plant lover, you don’t want to miss this experience of total immersion in daylily splendor. My gardens have over 400 registered varieties and well over 1,000 unregistered hybrids.

Daylilies of all forms and colors of your choice can be dug, washed (bare root) and packaged for the journey to your special garden spot. Plants available for sale are marked with color-coded ribbons with plant color and price shown, in the range of $8, $10, $12, $15 and above for 3 fans and "special economical pricing" of larger size clumps. There will also be potted daylilies, other perennials and a few houseplants (priced as marked at very affordable prices).

Refreshments available and some chairs for "sitting a spell".
Rain or shine (although a thunderstorm or downpour will require a break in digging activities).
