106 East Main Street, Los Gatos, United States
Join museum staff for a tour of the Los Gatos History Hall with a special emphasis on the history of local artists Frank Ingerson and George Dennison. "The boys," as their friends called them, moved to the Los Gatos Mountains in 1911 and called their home, Cathedral Oaks. The estate became a magnet for like-minded artists and creative types who lived nearby or came from out of town to escape their public lives. The boys were potentially the first common-law married gay couple in the nation.
Exhibitions, programs, and operations are made possible by NUMU’s Board of Directors & Circle Members, the Michael & Alyce Parsons Art Endowment, Peggy & Phil Koen, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Borgenicht Foundation, the Flick Family, Jan Schwartz & Bob Baden, Ranae DeSantis, The Poncetta Charitable Fund, the Town of Los Gatos, and SVCreates, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara.
