This Sunday, we will evade the high temperatures in the valley by heading towards Steven’s Canyon and climbing Redwood Gulch. The route is 27 miles with 2,100 feet of elevation gain. We will stop for water/bathroom at the intersection of Steven’s Canyon and Mt. Eden, this time we will head to the stop on the left side. Depending on how the group is feeling that morning, we can decide if we’d like to go to the end of the paved part of Steven’s Canyon before beginning the main climb of the day. This will add a couple of miles of rolling hills.
