About this Event

Please note that this is a multi-session cohort experience. Please see below for session dates and times.

Cohort Description:

Inspired by our signature 3-part seminar series – Supervising for Success – the Center for Nonprofit Management has created the new Supervising for Success Cohort experience.

Today’s workplace contains complexities that cannot be ignored: a diverse, multigenerational workforce, increased expectations of healthy people management practices, pressures to experience leaders whose values and practices aligns, staff who desire a sense of belonging at work, and more. Managing people is an art and it can be challenging to serve when we are overwhelmed, feeling burned out, and stressed

Strengthen your confidence and capacity as a nonprofit supervisor through this interactive 6-session program. Designed for both emerging and experienced managers, this series blends practical tools with deeper leadership self-awareness to help you navigate today’s complex nonprofit environment.

Grounded in intercultural effectiveness, people-centered leadership, and equity, each session builds on essential supervision skills – from communication, trust, and feedback, to managing up and across, addressing conflict, and preventing burnout. You’ll explore the whole person framework, examine power dynamics and organizational culture, and learn to balance your dual roles as supervisor and supervisee.

This cohort experience inspires networking and meaningful peer connection. Through interactive learning rooted in nonprofit examples, illuminating self-reflection, and a hands-on Supervision Impact Project, you’ll build the clarity and confidence needed to support diverse teams, foster trust and accountability, and lead with purpose and care.

Key Takeaways:
  • Leadership clarity & confidence by clarifying your leadership mindset and sustainable wellness practices.
