Doodle, dream, or simply dissolve into conversation in a space designed for softness and spontanei-tea.

FROM THE EARLY STAGES OF BEING A BIG FISH IN A SMALL VIRGINIA POND, TO CREATING WAVES OF SUCCESS IN EVEN BIGGER WATERS OF LOS ANGELES, THE FAITH IN MY PURPOSE AS AN ARTIST HAS ONLY GROWN DEEPER BECAUSE I FIND MEANING IN THIS UNIVERSE THROUGH INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION.


MY JOURNEY THROUGH THIS UNIVERSE IS FUELED BY THE ABILITY TO TRANSFORM INSPIRATION TAKEN FROM OBJECTS, COLORS, AND WORDS IN ORDER TO CREATE VISUAL NARRATIVES THAT GIVE VOICE TO UNCONVENTIONAL PERSPECTIVES AND UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES. 

Info: Softshell is the collaborative multimedia project of David Le Brun and Andrew Odom, two artists from opposite ends of California yet drawn together by their love of the environment between—highways, landscapes, and atmosphere.


David is a perfumer, photographer, and DJ, having been behind the decks since the age of 11. Under his monicker Parfums Le Brun, he specializes in scentscaping immersive environments, crafting signature scents and olfactory experiences for events such as Ever Afters, Honcho Campout, Signal Underground, and Hyper K.



Andrew is a multidisciplinary visual artist, working in the mediums of lighting, installation, projection visuals, and DJing. His installation work has been featured at Honcho Campout and has contributed visuals to a range of events, including Signal, Planet Love, and Quiche SF.

Info: Lover of the dub, the wub and deep aquatic sounds. Tapping into live performance via sequencers, synths and samplers to bring a range of emotion from ambient and slow, to heady body movement pieces.

Info: Laney is a self-taught herbalist who has spent the last decade studying herbal medicine through the Wise Woman Way. She is deeply passionate about herbal medicine because it is safe, effective, and accessible. Believing that anyone can ally with the medicinal plants around them to enhance their health and vitality. Laney was first drawn to build reciprocal relationships with plant medicine and allies eight years ago as part of her own journey of healing and nourishment. Since then, she has had the honor of cultivating two beautiful medicinal gardens, growing and learning alongside the plants and her green allies. Laney holds a strong belief that plants are true companions who deserve consensual, reciprocal relationships.
