Enter the world of Gustave Caillebotte and his circle of friends—the Impressionist painters and noted authors who shaped the artistic and literary landscape of late 1800s Paris. Dining and café culture played a central role in the social life of artists providing inspiration as well as sustenance. Join culinary historian Carolyn Tillie as she embarks on a delectable journey exploring this rich intersection of art and cuisine. After her talk gather around the table for a tasting of three classic French wines along with a curated selection of Impressionist-era cheeses pâte savories and sweets.
