Since the days of AM radio and pulp magazines to today’s podcasts and documentaries, stories of M**der and scandal have captivated audiences and dominated our media landscape. As part of a series of events explore true crime’s past and present, the award-winning Beverly Hills company will transform Doheny Memorial Library into an immersive theatrical stage for two performances of , an acclaimed drama inspired by the infamous 1929 M**der of Edward L. “Ned” Doheny Jr.The immersive, site-specific adaptation invites audiences to move through the library while actors in period dress reenact key moments in the days leading up to the crime. Originally staged at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, this exclusive production offers USC students the opportunity to experience true crime as both historical memory and theatrical event—while reflecting on Doheny Library’s own contested origins.
The performance lasts approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, and comfortable shoes are recommended.
