Please join PEEC for our Annual PEECnic Membership Appreciation Meeting and Event, held at the Los Alamos Nature Center on Saturday, October 18th from 1 - 3 pm. Everyone is invited to join PEEC staff, volunteers, and members at this public event. There will be snacks and desserts, games, friends, and educators sharing their PEEC wisdom.
Bring family, bring friends! This is a great time to introduce new people to our outstanding nature center. It will also be a great reminder of all the incredible benefits that come with PEEC membership, including discounts in the gift shop, members-only rental equipment, and discounts on many programs. First 50 members to arrive (new or old!) will receive a PEEC member glass water bottle, while supplies last. Members that join during PEECnic will receive an extra month added to their membership!!
This year's PEECnic will be led by PEEC’s Visitors Services Manager, Nic!
Critter experts will be on hand, attendees can play yard games, create art on our sidewalk, listen to a story, and check out the planetarium. This will be a rain or shine event.
Accepting apples for cider-pressing October 1-15! Please drop them off at the nature center during our operational hours, 10 am - 4 pm (closed Tues & Sun). Thank you!
