Since his debut single in 2021 Ruger whose real name is Michael Adebayo
Olayinka has garnered global attention due to his distinctive appearance
including pink hair and an eyepatch as well as his unapologetically authentic
persona. In 2023 he embarked on a successful European tour. Over two short
years he released several high-quality projects starting with his debut EP
"Pandemic" followed by "The Second Wave" and "The Second Wave Deluxe.
" His breakout single "Asiwaju" reached #1 in Nigeria and #3 on the OCC
