Active Minds is a national organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and education among young adults. At UCLA, our chapter works to connect students with mental health resources while creating spaces for open dialogue to de-stigmatize mental health.
Each year, we host a campus-wide mental health conference, and this year’s theme is Mental Health x Education. We aim to spotlight both the challenges and successes of being a student/faculty at a rigorous institution like UCLA, as well as the intersectional identities and experiences that shape student and faculty well-being.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at UCLA’s Bruin Reception Room. It will also feature keynote speakers, workshops, lunch, panelists, free swag, a raffle, and other community-centered programming. We would love to see you there!
