Wild Plant Walk

Join us for a peaceful and enriching walk through the different ecosystems at Hold Your Horses, where you'll discover the diverse plant life that thrives alongside us. Guided by HYH volunteer Amanda—a passionate amateur naturalist and herbalist—you’ll learn to identify a variety of local plants, from humble “weeds” to majestic trees. Along the way, Amanda will share insights into their ecological roles, medicinal uses, and the importance of respectful, ethical foraging. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned plant lover, you'll leave with a deeper connection to the landscape and a renewed appreciation for the green world around you.
