Welcome to the Free "Anything Apple" Baking Contest!

Come join us at Loomis Station (Historic Train Station) for a fun-filled day of baking and tasting delicious apple treats. Whether you're a seasoned baker or just starting out, this event is for everyone who loves anything apple!

CONTEST PARAMETERS:

1. Applications Deadline - Thursday, October 2, 2025

2. Recipes must be submitted with the dish and contestants agree to allow Loomis Chamber of Commerce to use in promotions.

3. Cooking Contest winners will be awarded:

1st Place $100

2nd Place $50

3rd Place $25

4. Winners will be announced at 1pm at the Community Stage (train Depot).

5. Pies and awards must be picked up at the Cooking Contest booth by 1:30 p.m.

CONTEST RULES:

1. Each submission must use APPLE as its main ingredient.

• Entries must be delivered to the Cooking Contest booth no later than 10:15 a.m. on the day of the Festival along with the attached recipe.

* There are no facilities for cooling or heating of food. It must be prepared and ready to serve.

• Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m.

• Judging criteria: Appearance – Taste – Originality in use of apples

2. Entries must serve 6 portions

3. The decision of the judges is final.
