🏠⚔️ Viking Feast Housewarming – A Celebration of Home, Family, and Adventure ⚔️🏠
In the days of the Norse, people would set sail for distant shores, discover new foods from different cultures, and return home to tell great stories by the fire.
We’re keeping that tradition alive — only with fewer longships and more comfy chairs!
Friends and family, we invite you to join us for a Viking-inspired housewarming feast to fill our new home with warmth, laughter, and the joy of shared meals.
The Vikings traveled far and learned of many flavors, bringing them back to their homelands. In that spirit, this will be a potluck feast where each guest brings a traditional dish from anywhere in the world — something from your heritage, your travels, or just a favorite you love to make.

1500 – Gather, socialize, axe throwing & weapon play
1700–1800 – Feast
2100 – Evening ends

From our hearth, we will be serving:
Boar of the Golden Hearth
Hearthfire Stew
Fjordland Apples & Pears with Honey and Hazelnuts (Vegan)
Fields & Fjords Vegetable Medley (Vegan)
Norn’s Requiem Mead
Before the mead flows, we’ll host axe throwing and other weapon play to test your skill and warrior’s spirit.
What to Bring:
A dish from your family, travels, or culture (serves 4–6 people)
A small card with:
The name of your dish
The country/region it comes from
Any known allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish)
Chairs if you need specific style seating — we have some available, but not all are the most comfortable
Your appetite and your best Viking spirit!
Additional Details:
Street parking only — please be mindful of neighbors.
If you cannot drive home after the feast, you are welcome to pitch a tent in the yard or sleep in the main hall. Bring your own bedding or sleeping gear if possible.
Dress comfortably — Viking touches encouraged (tunics, cloaks, braids, furs, leather — modern interpretations welcome).
We’ll eat well, drink well, compete in feats of skill, and when the plates are empty, we’ll gather to tell good stories — because that’s how a home truly becomes alive.
