We are honored to welcome our dear friend Megan of Hubbard Gardens to co-host a special fall gathering rooted in ritual and the old ways of tending ourselves and our communities through the making of folk medicine.
Together we will step into the sacred tradition of creating Fire Cider — an ages-old remedy crafted with vinegar, roots, herbs, spices and other whole/clean ingredients. Beyond its physical wellness benefits, this practice invites us to slow down, to connect with the plants as allies and spiritual teachers, and to remember that the act of preparing medicine for others is also medicine for ourselves.
This workshop is about more than making an herbal tonic. It is about:
✨ Returning to the rituals of care and creation
✨ Experiencing the medicine of intentionality and presence
✨ Exploring how natural ingredients support us as both humans and healers, teachers and community tenders.
✨ Co-creating space for face to face community and ceremony in a time when we need it most.
All ingredients will be lovingly prepared ahead of time. Each participant will build their own jar, layering in knowledge, reverence, and personal intention to carry home as a living medicine. We’ll also enjoy a tasting of ready-made Fire Cider varieties crafted by Megan, giving you the chance to experience different blends and flavors while you create your own.
This gathering is for anyone longing to reconnect with the slow, rooted ways of tending — the kitchen witchery, the community care, the remembering of ancient paths that still live in us.
✨ Space is limited. Tickets include light snacks and beverages, all ingredients, guided discussion, ceremony, a tasting of Fire Cider, and your own take-home jar.
We hope you can join us!
