Windrow Maintenance Volunteer Day at Haystack Farms

Come lend a hand at Haystack Farms! We’re hosting a volunteer workday to help maintain the windrow planted this past spring. The day will start at 10 AM and go until 5 PM. Whether you can join us for an hour or the whole day, your time and effort are greatly appreciated–come whenever, leave whenever!

What we’ll be doing:

• Weeding
• Mulching
• Filling a trench

Things to bring with you:

• Gloves or any other protective gear you prefer
• Optional, but appreciated: your own tools (shovels, hoes, McLeods, etc.)
• Water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Comfortable clothing and sturdy work shoes
• A camping chair or blanket to relax during breaks
• Your own snacks or drinks

Pizza will be provided for lunch and water will be available for filling water bottles up!

This is a great opportunity to support local regenerative agriculture and connect with others in the community. We hope to see you out at the farm!
