Stained Glass Garden Veggies: CORN for the Month of July!

🌱 Summer is Blooming with Creativity! 🌈🌱

As the weather warms and garden comes alive, why not channel that vibrant energy into a hands-on art project? Join us for the Stained Glass Garden Veggie Series Workshop and craft your very own Stained Glass Ear of Corn🌽— a delicious addition to your kitchen decorations!

Led by artist Laura Beth Konopinski in her cozy midtown Longmont, CO studio, this 3-hour workshop is your ticket to mastering the basics of stained glass:

• Choose your hues: Pick the color of your kernals
• Shape, grind, foil and solder: Learn to cut, refine, and assemble your veggie masterpiece
• Add life with husk & hanger: Your finished piece will include your ear of corn, husk and a hanger—ready to shine in your window!
• You will learn a lot & be proud of your finished piece!

Bring a friend and begin collecting veggies to build a full Veggie Festoon! Make at least 5 veggies and you'll be able to assemble your collection into a custom garland after the final workshop! This series runs through September 2025, with a new veggie each month. ALL levels are welcome!

This is a beginner class and no experience is required for this activity. This workshop can also be a great refresher course or simply a fun way to make a project!

All tools and materials are provided throughout the time of this workshop and you'll be able to take your finished project with you!

For this workshop, please wear natural material clothing (such as cotton or linen) and pull back all loose hair since we will be working with some heat. Please bring your beverage in a closed-top container.

There is plenty of street parking in this neighborhood and we kindly ask folks not to park in the single-wide studio driveway.
