Stained Glass Garden Veggies: BEETS for the Month of September!

🌱 Summer is still Blooming with Creativity! 🌈🌱

As the warm weather deepens and our gardens continue to grow, why not channel that vibrant energy into a hands-on art project? Join us to celebrate the finale of our Stained Glass Garden Veggie Series Workshop and craft your very own Stained Glass Beet— a sweet ending with Autumn beginnings!

Led by artist Laura Beth Konopinski in her cozy midtown Longmont, CO studio, this 3-hour workshop is your ticket to mastering the basics of stained glass:

• Choose your hues: Pick your glass colors
• Shape, grind, foil and solder: Learn to cut, refine, and assemble your veggie masterpiece
• Add life with leaves & hanger: Your finished piece will include your beet root, leaves and a hanger—ready to shimmer in your window!
• You will learn a lot & you'll be proud of your finished piece!

Bring a friend and begin collecting veggies to build a full Veggie Festoon! Make at least 5 veggies and you'll be able to assemble your collection into a custom garland after the final workshop! This series runs through September 2025, with a new veggie each month. ALL levels are welcome!

This is a beginner class and no experience is required for this activity. This workshop can also be a great refresher course or simply a fun way to make a project!

All tools and materials are provided throughout the time of this workshop and you'll be able to take your finished project with you!

For this workshop, please wear natural material clothing (such as cotton or linen) and pull back all loose hair since we will be working with some heat. Please bring your beverage in a closed-top container.

There is plenty of street parking in this neighborhood and we kindly ask folks not to park in the single-wide studio driveway.
