About the event

SomAwakening - Early Trauma Processing and Moment Repatterning
Are there fundamental patterns in your life that you’ve tried to change but find yourself repeating, despite your best efforts? Behaviors that no longer serve you, yet seem to persist, rooted in a place beyond conscious understanding? The origins of these deeply ingrained habits often lie in our earliest experiences—pre-cognitive, pre-verbal memories shaped long before we had the language to describe them.

Our perinatal period, from conception through the first 18 months of life, is a time of rapid and profound neural development. During this sensitive window, we absorb and internalize foundational lessons about safety, connection, and survival. These early imprints silently guide our choices, behaviors, and emotional responses, often without our conscious awareness, influencing us throughout our lives.

But what if it were possible to break free from these unconscious mandates? To gently unravel the survival strategies that no longer serve us and reclaim the authentic self that exists beneath them?

The SomAwakening Retreat offers a unique opportunity to do just that. Through a blend of developmental movement practices and deep somatic group processing, we create a space for transformative healing. By engaging in these primal movement patterns that mirror our earliest motor experiences, we access the body's innate wisdom, bypassing the cognitive mind to reach the root of these early imprints.

Our retreat is designed as an immersive, supportive environment where we can explore perinatal experiences in a safe, compassionate small group setting. Guided with care you will have the chance to:
- Identify and release deeply held emotional patterns rooted in early trauma
- Repattern movement and nervous system responses for greater resilience
- Reconnect with your body’s innate capacity for healing and self-regulation
- Cultivate awareness of unconscious behaviors and open pathways for lasting change

Join us this July at a lovely private farmhouse West of Longmont with a warm outdoor pool. Together, we will embark on a journey of profound self-discovery, emotional liberation, and embodied transformation. This is more than a retreat—it’s an invitation to awaken to the fullness of who you truly are, beyond the limitations of your early survival patterns.
