Herbs for Toddlers

About me:

I am a Certified Clinical Herbalist, and my particular calling within my field is to reach out to parents and care-givers to steward their journeys toward more intentional, holistic, and traditional health practices. After I graduated from herb school, I began working as a Waldorf preschool teacher with a particular focus on the toddler age group. Through my experience in the toddler and early childhood classrooms, I was able to witness so many of the developmental milestones, emotional challenges, and common health issues that present themselves during these unique and precious years. I got to know many parents and families with a hunger for education and knowledge on what practices and remedies they could incorporate at home to bolster their children's health and overall wellness. I began designing a series of classes to address that community need.

About this event:

This class is focused on parent education and household empowerment so that care-givers can become knowledgeable and competent using herbal therapeutics and vitalist remedies with their little ones during the toddler years. The goals of the class are to:

• Provide education on using herbs as a parenting resource
• Review common toddler-age behaviors and health topics
• Reduce fear around administering and dosing herbs for children
• Suggest ways to incorporate herbs into your child's daily life
