Our Summer Music Evenings, will be held weekly from May 28th- October 3rd, every Wednesday and some Friday evenings, from 4:30 - 8:30pm, music is from 5:30-7:45. These evenings, will feature an amazing local band and food truck, while all animals and regular Farmfest activities will be open, for an unforgettable night out on the farm! On Wednesday August 6th, David Lawrence and the Spoonful will be playing the Sunflower Farm stage!
David Lawrence has called Colorado home for over a decade. Whether performing solo or with his full band, ‘The Spoonful,’ David brings a unique blend of finger-picking blues, Roots-Americana, soulful vocals, and his style of Django-inspired jazz guitar. His Recent full-length album 'Lean In' received accolades at Westword Magazine, 303 Magazine, 5280, Rooster Magazine & plays on local radio all over CO. David's recent performances include Cervantes Ballroom opening for Bros. Comatose, Bluebird Theatre, NYE opening for Pimps of Joytime and two headline sold out Gold Hill Inn shows. A poet at heart, David’s original sound combines evocative imagery and storytelling with infectious melodies and rich, layered guitar playing. True to his musical roots, David’s music is raw, gritty, soulful, and full of heart.
Los Dos Bros food truck will be here to purchase dinner and Palo Coffee & Bar will be on site, serving up non-alcoholic beverages and snow-cones. Bring your chairs, blankets and family for a summer eve listening to your favorite local bands at Sunflower!
