Astronomy on Tap NYC and Mark Popinchalk - Celebrating Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin!

Join us for the Astronomy on Tap NYC’s 160th event, and the next in our monthly series at Pete’s Candy Store! Astronomy on Tap is fun and informative, with professional scientists and educators, plus games, prizes, and a bit of learning while drinking.

This month, Astronomy on Tap NYC is teaming up with our old friend Mark Popinchalk to celebrate Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin, who, 100 years ago, published one of the most important papers in all of astronomy. Join us to learn more, it's gonna be a real star party!!

Doors open at 6:45pm, event start at 7pm SHARP, cake at 8:45pm. Arrive early to get your seats, grab a drink, and settle in for science talks, games, prizes, and fun!
