Community Circle for Hope & Action

Attendees: 15 total max

Cost: Donation-based, $15.00 minumum - all proceeds will be donated to @heal.palistine

Location: Meet by Saltwater Deck (2630 E OCEAN BLVD. LONG BEACH, CA 90803) - look for the woman in the yellow backpack

Hosts: Carmen Shelbrack, LCSW Nature-based Psychotherapist & Fatima Cervantes, LCSW Community-based Social Worker

In this community gathering, we will create an open processing space, have tea together, & make art to explore the questions:

-How can we confront and engage with confusion, urgency, overwhelm, sadness, feelings of powerlessness, and more while we bear witness to human made injustice and suffering?

-What can it look like to show up imperfectly and respond to the call to act?

We will have time for a guided mindfulness activity and thoughtful conversation & reflection.

Additional themes explored might include: gratitude, guilt, purpose, and service.

We will provide tea, pastries, and a few art supplies
