120 Years of LBFNaz

We are delighted to announce a truly special milestone in the life of our church: Long Beach First Church of the Nazarene will celebrate its 120th Anniversary on Sunday, October 12, 2025! We joyfully invite you to join us for this momentous occasion, as we reflect on God’s faithfulness and celebrate the generations of people who have called this church home.

Our celebration will begin with a special 10:30am worship service featuring Retired General Superintendent Dr. David Graves as our guest speaker. We’ve also invited former pastors and staff to return and celebrate with us. This day will be filled with joyful reunions, cherished memories, and opportunities to reconnect with friends and family who have been part of our church’s rich legacy.

Immediately following the service, we will gather for a catered luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets for the luncheon are $30 per adult and must be purchased in advance. Children in elementary school and younger will enjoy a special pizza lunch and fun in the playground area for $10 per child. As part of the celebration, we are creating a “Museum of Memories” in the chapel, which will open at 9:00am with complimentary coffee and donuts. This space will showcase photos, memorabilia, and stories highlighting our church’s legacy over the past 120 years. We would be honored to include your memories!
