YUAF Mic Check - Podcasting & Storytelling

Young Urban Arts Foundation (YUAF) is excited to present a dynamic Summer Podcasting Program designed for 11-15-year-olds. Running for three hours, this workshop will empower young people with the skills to plan, record, and produce their podcast episodes in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment.

Workshop Activities:

• Inspire confidence and self-expression through storytelling and discussion.
• Develop essential skills in podcast planning, scripting, and structuring episodes.
• Equip young people with techniques in vocal delivery, interview skills, and audio production.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration, and critical thinking through content creation.
• Provide a final podcast showcase, where young people share their recorded episodes with parents and the community.
