Youth Workshop: Seasonal Soups & Fresh Focaccia
Get ready to chop, simmer, and share! Join us for a fun, hands-on evening where you’ll team up with other youth to create rich, comforting soups and craft a beautiful, fresh-baked focaccia bread—all from scratch. You'll learn the secret to building incredible flavor bases and the magic of working with dough. Bring your appetite, your creativity, and your friends (or make some new ones!) for a cozy night full of warm flavour, skill-building, and teamwork.

This beginner-friendly workshop is all about creativity, teamwork, and tasty food — no cooking experience needed!
In this workshop, you will:
- Meet your group & connect: Kick off with a fun icebreaker to get to know your team and warm up for some hands-on action.
- Shape & stretch your group's dough: Learn the secret to handling sticky dough as you gently press and stretch your group's portion of focaccia into a single large pan.
- Build your soup base: Work with your group to chop vegetables and sauté aromatics, learning how to layer flavors for a delicious homemade soup.
- Dimple & decorate: Press deep dimples into your group's resting focaccia, then drizzle it with olive oil and top it with fresh herbs and sea salt before sending it off to bake.
- Dig in & reflect: Enjoy the warming meal you made with your group, chat about your favourite flavors, and share what made the workshop most fun.

Participants will work in groups of 3–5 to make a pot of soup and one large focaccia bread together.The different groups will be making different kinds of soup (e.g., chicken noodle, lentil, butternut squash) to ensure variety for the shared meal.
