Abstract: In the age of AI, misinformation is a serious concern, threatening health, climate, and democracy. The Royal Society-funded PolyGraphs project simulates its effect on public opinion. This talk sketches findings from this research in computational philosophy, and explains how it differs methodologically from the physics of complex systems.
