My name is Leyla Remzi and I am a student at the London Screen Academy studying costume for film and tv.
I am putting on a fashion show of my own designs and stylings for my final school project, a collection inspired by a 90s film trilogy, The Teenage Apocalypse trilogy, depicting the trials and tribulations of life as a teenager. The trilogy is written and directed by Gregg Araki, a Japanese-American director who is known for his involvement with the New Queer Cinema movement and his display of the lives and minds of 90s youth. I will be donating all ticket sales to YoungMinds to support metal health and well-being in young adults and teens.
