The Dance Doctor: Movement Medicine for NHS workers

Movement Medicine is a free-form dance practice which integrates movement and rhythm with therapeutic approaches. It is designed to support your physical and emotional wellbeing by allowing your body to move in a way that feels good, while honoring any limitations you may have. 

This workshop is specifically for NHS workers and healthcare professionals. It requires no dance experience and is fully facilitated to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are managing stress, recovering from burnout, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself and others, this workshop offers a unique and restorative experience.

Dr Kirran, The Dance Doctor, draws on her medical background and Movement Medicine training to create spaces for natural healing and community connection.

The outline for the day is as follows:

10.00: Time to arrive, relax, stretch.

10.30 - 12.30 : Morning session

12.30 - 13.30 : Lunch. This will not be provided so please bring a packed lunch

13.45 - 15.45: Afternoon session

16.00 : Finish
