The King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence and STEP-UP are bringing together researchers and digital Research Technical Professionals for a workshop focused on how AI is changing the practical work of research. The event looks at real examples of how research teams are adapting software, data and infrastructure workflows, and how longstanding principles such as transparency, reproducibility and FAIRness can be maintained as AI becomes more deeply embedded in research practice.
This event will be of most benefit to researchers and technical professionals working with software, data or computing infrastructure who want to explore how individuals, teams and institutions are adapting as AI is reshaping the ways research is designed and carried out. Through talks, case studies, a panel and breakout sessions, attendees will hear from colleagues across institutions and disciplines about the challenges they face and the approaches they are testing in their own environments.
