Tarantella Beats Party With Amaraterra + DJ Aly Prince at Jamboree

On Saturday June 21st we welcome back to Jamboree the brilliant Amaraterra, the first Pizzica ensemble in London, with their sizzling Southern Italian party, performing traditional music from the heel of Italy!

A ‘Pizzica’ is the malicious bite of the tarantula spider. In order to heal from the poison you must dance till you drop, following the intense, restless beat of the tambourine. It is one of the oldest musical expressions of the Mediterranean, brought to London by a group of passionate musicians. Expect a flourish of instruments, colour and movement.

Ace DJ Aly Prince will also be keeping the dancefloor moving through the night.
