The workshop aims to give STP trainees experience of the role of the Laser Protection Adviser and information about the user of Class IV lasers in healthcare.
The workshop includes Core of Knowledge training in laser safety and has practical workshops covering measurement of laser output, laser risk assessment & local rules and calculating maximum permissible exposure and nominal ocular hazard distances.
