"SOUNDS OF SILENCE" - relaxation concert with Alina Jurczyszyn and Kamila Bigus from Laboratorium Pieśni

We will take you where the world has stopped. We will sing you songs from ancient spaces. We will lead you through field paths to the forest, where birds sing and trees tell amazing stories. We will sing to the river, to all the waters of this Earth. We will sing and play for life, in gratitude for the life that flows in us, in you.
Experience deep relaxation and music travel in the beginning of weekend, as you lie down and bath in sounds.

We invite you for a sound immersion with traditional songs, intuitive singing, shaman drum, violin, singing bowls, shruti box, koshi and other instruments.
This music meditation, magical ceremony of primary songs will give you the power to open your heart, rid of all your tension and purify yourself from thoughts.

Alina Jurczyszyn (Aja Piesionka): a singer, founder of the Laboratorium Pieśni/Song Laboratory band,
for about twenty years has worked with traditional songs from many cultures, leading workshops, travelling around the world (e.g. USA, Japan, England, India, Turkey, Israel and most of Europe), collecting songs from their sources; a graduate of Akademia Praktyk Teatralnych Gardzienice and the faculty of humanities with the specialisation of theatre studies at the University of Gdańsk; a field researcher (Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Poland); director of musical performances; co-creator of ten music albums, the author of the book “Free your song”.

Kamila Bigus:
a violinist, singer musical arranger in Laboratorium Pieśni, graduate of the Stanislaw Moniuszko State Academy of Music in Gdansk at the violin class, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk (Interdepartmental Institute of Art), co-leader of Song Laboratory Workshops; participated in theatre plays and a series of the audiovisual performances ‘Understanding Poland’ with the Łukasz Rostkowski’s (L.U.C) chamber music ensemble; a session musician; took part in many CD recordings of the bands, such as: Symphonic Theater of Dreams, False Month, Crane days, Miejscovi.
An artist creating illustrations called "My Gold Medicine", a graphic designer for the albums: Laboratorium Pieśni "Rasti", "He oyate", Annutara "Po drum", False Month "Forty winks", Crane days “La Caleta”

Zabierzemy Cię tam, gdzie świat się zatrzymał. Zaśpiewamy Ci pieśni z prastarych przestrzeni. Poprowadzimy przez polne dróżki, do lasu, gdzie śpiewają ptaki, a drzewa opowiadają niezwykłe historie. Alina Jurczyszyn (Aja Piesionka): Kobieta Pieśń, założycielka Laboratorium Pieśni, od prawie dwudziestu lat dedykuje swoją ścieżkę zgłębianiu niezwykłej materii jaką jest dźwięk i pieśni tradycyjne. Podróżuje po całym świecie (m.in. USA, Japonia, Anglia, Indie, Turcja, Izrael i większość krajów Europy), prowadząc warsztaty, koncertując, zbierając pieśni u źródeł. Absolwentka Teatru Gardzienice, reżyserka spektakli muzycznych. W swoim dorobku ma nagranych dziesięć płyt (w tym ostatnia płyta Laboratorium Pieśni: Rasti - w 2020 roku nominowana do Fryderyków) oraz napisaną książkę „Uwolnij swoją pieśń”. Przez ostatnie lata praktykuje pieśni uzdrawiające, muzykoterapię, przy pomocy swoich instrumentów: bębnów szamańskich, grzechotek, shruti box, dzwonków, liry, fletu, ukulele, mis, a także kamertonów.

Kamila Bigus: skrzypaczka, absolwentka Akademii Muzycznej im. Stanisława Moniuszki w Gdańsku, absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku (Międzywydziałowy Instytut Nauk o Sztuce); wokalistka i aranżerka muzyczna w trójmiejskich zespołach Laboratorium Pieśni oraz Annutara, współprowadząca Warsztaty wokalne Laboratorium Pieśni w Polsce i za granicą, m.in. w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Japonii, Indiach, Turcji, Portugalii, Niemczech, Francji, Holandii, Wielkiej Brytanii, Szwajcarii; współuczestniczka wielu nagrań płytowych takich zespołów, jak: L.U.C, Symphonic Theater of Dreams, Crane Days, False Month czy Miejscovi; Artystka tworząca ilustracje pod nazwą „My Gold Medicine”, projektantka opraw graficznych do płyt: Laboratorium Pieśni "Rasti", „He oyate”, Annutara "Po drum", False Month "Forty winks".
