North Paddington Canalside Activation Grant Drop-in session - Round 1

This drop-in session will be foccussed on providing grants for projects to hold events at the North Paddington Canalside Festival in September.

The North Paddington Canalside Festival will enliven the public space alongside the canal under the Westway flyover through local community-run activities across four weekends in September 2025. We invite grant winners to deliver their events on any of the four weekends.

· Saturday 6th September - Biodiversity theme

· Saturday 13th September - Health & Wellbeing theme

· Saturday 20th September - Culture & Creativity theme

· Weekend 27th and 28th September - Finale weekend

We want to create a new destination ahead of the permanent public space improvements. These permanent improvements will transform a dark, underutilised site into an inviting place where all are welcome.

Please note: all events are free for the public to attend.

The impetus behind the drop-in session is threefold:

1. An opportunity for applicants to find out more about the grant
2. An opportunity for applicants to ask questions about the application process
3. An opportunity to network with others to team up to make submissions for joint BIDs.
