No Computers is a recurring improv music event series at ‘The Deck’ which is a covered outdoor space behind the Old Church in Stoke Newington. The event is free and open to the public and the format is a feature act followed by an open improvisation where anyone can play regardless of background, ability or status. This event occurs on the last Saturday afternoon* of every other month.
This is an "after-dark" edition of No Computers, where we will have several special features:
-our feature act will be doing light projections on the church, during both the feature and the group.
-mulled wine on the deck to keep warm.
-poster giveaway.
-instead of the afternoon it's in the evening, after dark!
Aside from this you can expect our usual format:
4:30pm: start
5:00pm: feature act - Blanca Regina & Pierre Bouvier Patron
5:45pm: open session
7:30pm: end
Electronics welcome but no power supply is available.
Food and drink are allowed but please leave nothing behind.
Toilets available inside The Church.
Admission £0.
*Note that this No Computers instead occurs on the last Sunday evening of the month.
