Mr Bongo Record Club at The Corner Tate Modern

Following a great evening of dancing with Patrick Forge at our last Tate Corner Bar party, we are back to celebrate the launch of Gabriele Poso’s forthcoming compilation on Mr Bongo. ‘Ritmo Italiano: Unspoken Sounds Of Italian Tamburo’ honours the masters of Italian percussion past and present, across 12 compelling, genre-traversing tracks.

The Sardinian multi-instrumentalist, percussionist and producer, who is also playing live at Ronnie Scott’s earlier that week, will be treating us to a special DJ set showcasing his revered taste. Mr Bongo DJs will be warming things up beforehand so it promises to be another brilliant night of music.

This is a free entry event, no ticket is required.
