Join the London Euphonia Orchestra for an evening of thrilling music featuring the world premiere of Pagan Scenes and Dances by composer Caitlin Harrison. Her music is bold emotional and full of colour—drawing on nature folklore and modern rhythms to tell a vivid story without words.
We’re also joined by award-winning pianist Rokas Valuntonis whose expressive style and power will bring Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2 to life. It’s full of drama beauty and moments that will take your breath away—even if you’ve never heard a note of Liszt before.
To end the night you’ll hear Saint-Saëns’ “Organ Symphony”—a huge cinematic work with the power of a full orchestra and a pipe organ. It’s a piece that builds and builds ending in a finale that truly shakes the walls.
Just bring your curiosity and we’ll take care of the rest.
Programme:
Caitlin Harrison: "Pagan Scenes and Dance" (World Premiere)
Franz Liszt: "Piano Concerto No. 2" (Rokas Valuntonis piano)
Camille Saint-Saëns: "Symphony No. 3" (Organ Symphony)
Dario Peluso conductor
