Isam Elias: Electro Afro Synthesizers Live Set in London

A sonic journey through borders and beats, Isam Elias fuses Western production with Afro-Oriental rhythms, placing the piano at the heart of a rich soundscape lit up by pulsing synthesizers. His live set moves fluidly through dancehall twists, folkloric melodies, and powerful electronic leads, layered with the driving pulse of Middle Eastern dabkeh and infectious dance beats.

Isam Elias is a Palestinian pianist, composer, vocalist, and songwriter. Born in 1991 in Nazareth, his early influences were shaped by traditional Arabic music, and he began playing piano at the age of six. He later co-founded Ghazall, serving as pianist, vocalist, and songwriter. The group released their debut album A Tareeq in 2017—the same year Elias graduated from the Rimon School of Jazz & Contemporary Music, where he majored in piano performance and music production.

Elias is also co-founder of Zenobia, an electronic duo blending Arabic pop melodies with Palestinian and Syrian dabkeh rhythms, heavy synths, and driving beats—often with a dub-inflected edge. Their debut album Halak Halak was released in 2019 on Crammed Discs.

Doors open at 8pm with live set starting from 8.30pm and ending around 9.30pm.
